We have a large number of access points to choose from for indoor use. Outdoor access points are the most sensible solution for public spaces, loading areas / loading ramps, stadiums and soccer fields, events and larger company premises.
Why the need for special outdoor access points?
Obviously, splash and dust resistance, as well as an elevated temperature range, are necessary to withstand the elements and weather conditions.
Furthermore, the type and intensity of the electromagnetic waves, which the access point uses for data transmission, is different than with an indoor AP. This is of utmost importance.
